Your new role

• Team leadership – Mentor and lead a team of 4 people (3 direct reports and 1 indirect report), ensuring they have the necessary tools and skills to meet the company’s financial objectives.
• Process management – ensure effective segregation of duties and authority levels are in place and followed across the business
• Month-end processes– undertake all month-end processes and reconciliations in line with the financial timetable
• Daily cash operations – Undertake all daily cash operations to ensure all training, including banking, HIF, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll, ensuring transactions are processed efficiently and accurately and managing the risk of the business in line with guidelines.
• Foreign exchange – working with the directors manage the currency trading processes

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in all key areas (accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll)
• Experience of managing a team.
• Experience of operating ERP systems
• Knowledge of SAP Business One would be an advantage.
• Experience of Food and Drink sector would be an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in cash flow management
• Strong Excel Skills
• Good people manager, able to set objectives and manage performance.
• Able to build strong relationships at all levels.
• Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
