Your new role

As the Finance Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial backbone of the business. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll lead a high-performing team and oversee core financial operations across payroll, accounts payable, reconciliations, and strategic processes like debt sales and audits. This is a senior, high-impact role with visibility across the business and a mandate to drive efficiency, control, and insight.

• Lead and optimise financial operations in a fast-paced, scaling FinTech

• Own the month-end close and deliver commercial insight to senior leadership.

• Manage and mentor a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants

• Drive automation, process improvement, and system enhancements

• Collaborate cross-functionally to support strategic initiatives and grow

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in financial operations, ideally in a high-growth or tech-led business

• Strong understanding of internal controls, systems, and reporting tools (especially SQL)

• Exceptional analytical and communication skills

• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities

• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
