Interim ER Case Manager - London Hybrid - 6 month duration

Your new company
Join a leading organisation with a strong commitment to excellence in HR and people management. As the most senior specialist of the Employee Relations Centre of Excellence, you’ll be working within a high-performing team that partners with leaders across the UK & Ireland to deliver strategic, compliant, and people-focused solutions. This is a business where your expertise will be valued and your impact felt.

Your new role
As a Senior Employee Relations Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing complex ER cases and advising leaders on a wide range of employee lifecycle matters – from performance and absence management to disciplinary, grievance, and restructuring. Reporting to the ER Director, you’ll act as a senior escalation point, coach ER Advisors, and contribute to strategic decision-making across the business. You’ll also support change programmes, deliver training, and collaborate with global ER colleagues to drive continuous improvement and mitigate risk.

What you’ll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
  • Extensive experience in employee relations advisory and case management.
  • Deep knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
  • Proven ability to manage complex ER cases end-to-end.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Experience working with trade unions or representative bodies is a plus.
What you’ll get in return
You’ll be part of a respected ER function where your expertise will shape outcomes and elevate leadership capability. Expect a collaborative culture, opportunities to influence at senior levels, and the chance to contribute to meaningful organisational change. You will be available to start a new role on short notice, commit to working in a hybrid manner from the London office and will be able to commit to a 6 month duration.

What you'll get in return

For the right person, this could become a longer-term/permanent opportunity.
