As part of a collaborative HR team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the organisation’s values and supporting managers through a wide range of ER matters.
Your new role
As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will provide expert ER guidance across all London business areas, working closely with managers, HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders. You will lead on a varied portfolio of ER cases, ensuring each matter is managed with accuracy, professionalism, and in line with UK employment legislation.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with complex ER cases, including performance, absence, restructuring and—when required—Employment Tribunal‑related support.
- Designing and updating HR policies, guidance materials and ER training to strengthen ER capability across the organisation.
- Managing ER data, reporting and case tracking to ensure high‑quality insights and compliance.
- Partnering with Legal and the Data Office to support Data Subject Access Requests.
- Acting as an escalation point to guide line managers through sensitive or complex people matters.
This is a hands‑on role where accuracy, judgement and stakeholder confidence are key.

- 3–5 years’ experience in an ER advisory capacity with strong knowledge of UK employment legislation.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to influence and guide managers.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities, particularly in documentation and data management.
- A proactive mindset with evidence of problem‑solving and supporting change.
- Strong digital literacy, including HR systems and data manipulation.
You will also be expected to work consistently within regulatory standards, including the organisation’s Conduct Rules.
What you’ll get in return
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop specialist ER expertise within a respected financial services environment. You will gain exposure to diverse casework, policy development and broader HR initiatives while working alongside experienced ER and HR Business Partnering teams.
You will also benefit from:
- A 6‑month contract with competitive pay
- The opportunity to influence ER practice across multiple London entities
- Supportive colleagues and access to established HR frameworks and training resources
