Interim Emergency Tanker Administrator 3 months £17 an hour Leeds

Your new company

One of our clients in Leeds is looking for a strong administrator to join their team initially on a 3-month contract to support the monitoring and administration for their emergency tanker deployments. This role is to start ASAP.

This role is split site in LS9 and WF6 with an expectation of 2–3 days on site and the rest remote working, so you MUST be able to reliably commute to both areas, ideally with your own transport.

They are looking for someone to help monitor and manage emergency tanker deployments. This involves using a new spreadsheet process to keep track of when tankers are sent out, why they are needed, how long they stay on a job, and what rate they are working at. This is a fast-paced role which requires strong attention to detail, good communication skills and Excel knowledge.

Full training will be given before you take full responsibility.

Your new role

• Keep track of tanker locations and jobs.
• Record the details of each tanker request clearly and accurately.
• Decide whether a tanker is the right response for each situation.
• Make sure tankers are on the correct rate (reactive or planned).
• Speak with suppliers to gather information or solve problems.
• Work with the out of hours team to ensure data is complete and correct.
• Remove tankers from the system once their work is finished.

What you'll need to succeed

• Someone confident talking to suppliers.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive person who looks for solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to follow a set of standard questions and processes.

What you'll get in return

Guaranteed 3-month contract

Immediate start
£17-£18 an hour pay
37.5 hours a week
2-3 days remote work with the rest on site split between LS9 and WF6.
