Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our finance team on an interim basis. This role will focus on a balance sheet reconciliation project while supporting some BAU Accounts Receivable activities. Key responsibilities will include:

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, with a focus on Accounts Receivable.
• Investigate and resolve transaction duplications, debit/credit mismatches, and aged items.
• Support BAU AR tasks, including cash allocation, query resolution, and ledger maintenance.
• Work closely with finance and operational teams to identify root causes and implement process improvements.
• Assist in clearing suspense accounts and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work through complex data sets.
• Experience in troubleshooting discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar) is desirable.
