Senior Integration Manager – Higher Education / Public Sector – Greater Manchester – Basic Salary of £73,000 to £85,000 in addition to a full HE Benefits package (21% employer pension contributions, 33 days annual leave + Bank Holidays)

Hays have partnered with a leading Higher Education institution to assist them in their recruitment of a senior Integration Manager on a full-time basis.

Our client's internal integration team are responsible for ensuring all core internal and external systems operate seamlessly whilst using a range of core integration technologies (Boomi, Oracle Integrations, Microsoft SSIS and SoftwareAG webMethods)

We’re looking for an experienced Integration Manager who would be comfortable leading a wider integration engineering team in the development of organisational systems integration and building capabilities including automation and continuous integration. This will also include the establishment of an Integration Centre of Excellence, to ensure that appropriate governance, standards and environments are in place for effective delivery of services and projects.

With over 200 individual systems in operation and a major transformation strategy ongoing, 2026 looks to be a huge year for this team, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated leadership professional who will thrive in an environment where they will have a real impact on this organisation's digital strategy.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of leading and managing a team, as well as, developing and sustaining a high-performance culture. Expertise in integration architecture capabilities, including integration platforms and toolsets is essential, as is significant in-depth business process and technical experience with enterprise-grade, cloud-based integration platforms (e.g. Boomi), API management and workflow automation

This role can offer

  • A basic salary of £73,000 to £85,000 p/year
  • An employer pension contribution of 21%
  • 33 days annual leave + Bank Holidays
  • Hybrid working – 2 days p/week in office, 3 days from home
