Information Compliance Administrator

Our client is currently recruiting for an Information Compliance Administrator to support them with sickness cover.

Your new role

As an Information Compliance Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation adheres to all relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies related to information security and data protection. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs related to information security, data privacy, and other IT-related regulations.
  • Monitoring changes in regulatory requirements and updating organisational practices accordingly.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and updating internal policies and procedures to align with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIST).
  • Conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Coordinating with external auditors during compliance audits and certification processes.
  • Identifying potential compliance risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Conducting risk assessments related to data protection and IT systems.
  • Managing and reporting compliance-related incidents, breaches, or violations.
  • Developing and delivering training programs to educate employees on compliance requirements and best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with conducting audits and managing risk assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus) and industry standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable policies.
