Income Recovery Officer (Social Housing) - Rolling temporary contract - HYBRID WORKING
We're looking to recruit an experienced Income Recovery Officer in Liverpool on behalf of a well-established housing association. This is a full-time, 37 hour per week role, working on a hybrid basis (2 x office days per week), on a rolling temporary contract.
Your new role
Manage your own caseload of customer rent accounts to maximise income and minimise arrears for the group
Take early intervention and enforcement action where appropriate to recover outstanding rent
Complete income and expenditure assessments and vulnerability reviews to agree affordable repayment plans
Prepared and serve notices and court papers in partnership with Enforcement, Tenancy Sustainment and Neighbourhood Officers
Work closely with external agencies such as Local Authorities and Benefit teams
What you'll need to succeed
A strong background in an Income Recovery role within Social Housing, ideally having used the QL system before
Strong knowledge of welfare benefits and social-housing related legislation
Experience of completing income, expenditure and vulnerability assessments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with empathy and clarity
