ICT Enterprise Manager role at Housing Ombudsman Service
The Housing Ombudsman Service provides independent, impartial and fair dispute resolution for nearly 5 million households in England. Through resolving disputes effectively and promoting positive change across the social housing sector, we improve residents’ lives and landlords’ services.

As ICT Enterprise Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, support, and security of the organisation’s technology infrastructure. You will oversee IT service delivery, infrastructure management, and cyber resilience, ensuring high-quality support and efficient solutions for daily business operations.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll mentor and lead a skilled team, foster a collaborative culture, and work closely with external partners to deliver on SLAs and contracts. You’ll champion best practice in data security and disaster recovery, ensuring resilience across our network and server infrastructure.
This is an 18-month fixed term contract.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the ICT team to deliver reliable IT services and support.
- Oversee network, server, and infrastructure operations, ensuring security and resilience.
- Drive service improvements and infrastructure upgrades with clear communication.
- Ensure compliance with security standards, data protection, and disaster recovery best practice.
- Build strong vendor relationships and monitor SLAs.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative culture.
Experience:
- Proven experience in IT operations and infrastructure management.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL, cyber security, and regulatory compliance.
- Budget management and resource planning expertise.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
- Experience managing vendors and service contracts.

- A salary of £63,478 per annum
