ICT Analyst – Public Sector | Hybrid | Belfast
Job Summary
Are you an experienced ICT Support Analyst or IT Infrastructure Specialist looking for a secure, long-term career in the public sector? Invest NI is hiring a permanent ICT Analyst to join their Customer Services Team, supporting around 750 users across Northern Ireland and international offices.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid IT support role with exposure to Windows environments, Active Directory, Entra ID, SCCM/Intune, and network troubleshooting. You’ll lead on technical escalations, mentor junior staff, and manage ICT projects from start to finish.
Location: Belfast City Centre (Hybrid Working Available)
Salary: Circa £41,000+ per annum
Hours: 37 hours/week, Monday–Friday
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

️ Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support across software, hardware, and network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 desktop environments
- Manage Active Directory and Entra ID
- Deploy and patch devices using SCCM / Intune
- Lead ICT projects including mobile device management and procurement
- Support VOIP and Teams Calling systems
- Create user guides and contribute to knowledge base
- Mentor service desk staff and improve customer service delivery
✅ Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in ICT support across software, hardware, and networks
- Strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments
- Experience with Active Directory / Entra ID
- Familiarity with SCCM / Intune for automated deployments
- Ability to manage technical escalations and lead ICT projects
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
