Hays Education is working in partnership with a number of excellent secondary schools across Wigan to recruit passionate and engaging Humanities Teachers for roles starting immediately or from September. These opportunities are suitable for ECTs, recently qualified teachers, and experienced practitioners alike.

The Role
- Teaching either History, Geography or Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing and tracking student progress in line with school policies
- Opportunities across a range of supportive and well-resourced schools in Wigan
About You
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be due to qualify as an ECT
- Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for humanities subjects
- Be committed to raising achievement and inspiring learners
- Be adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic
- ECTs are strongly encouraged to apply – full support provided
