I am working with a leading UK & Ireland Building Services company that delivers high-quality engineering systems covering a range of projects across all construction phases to completed projects and maintaining current sites. They have a strong reputation of successfully delivering complex projects across the public and private sector.

Your new role

  • Manage all health, safety, and environmental aspects across decarbonisation, underfloor heating, and maintenance/service projects to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive HSE programmes that ensure safe, compliant workplaces and meet or exceed environmental standards.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance, identify and minimise workplace hazards, and promote a strong culture of safety and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with the HSE Manager, in‑house teams, and clients throughout all project stages to deliver effective HSE management arrangements aligned with legal and client-specific requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement through best practices and innovative approaches, with a strong focus on behavioural safety.
  • Lead by example to cultivate a positive safety culture across all operational areas.
  • Conduct regular site visits to build strong relationships and provide expert HSE support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with project delivery teams, client representatives, and the wider HSE department to maintain a safe, compliant, and sustainable operating environment in a rapidly growing sector.

What you'll need to succeed

  • NEBOSH General or equivalent level 3 (UK/IRO acquired only)

  • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent (UK/ROI acquired only)

  • Experience of working in a similar role (UK/ROI only)

  • Member of IOSH
