A fantastic interim opportunity has arisen for a motivated Recruitment & HR Support Advisor to join a busy People team on a 5‑month contract, starting in June/July 2026 until December 2026. This is a hybrid role, requiring one day per week in the Leeds office, with additional on‑site flexibility to support interviews when needed at other sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate management — tracking applications, preparing shortlisting summaries, supporting face‑to‑face interviews, and overseeing virtual or in‑person assessments.
  • Pre‑employment checks — completing references and liaising with agencies, hiring panels and internal teams.
  • Onboarding support — assisting with induction processes and ensuring new starters have a positive experience.
  • General HR & OD support — diary management, processing training requests, maintaining accurate records, preparing letters and documentation, raising purchase orders, and contributing to project work.
  • Leaver processes — supporting both temporary and permanent leaver administration.
Person Specification
  • HR or recruitment support experience with an understanding of end‑to‑end processes and employee life cycle
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with clear written and verbal skills.
  • Office administration experience in a busy environment.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • A professional, adaptable approach with the ability to:
    • Prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
    • Maintain confidentiality
    • Work collaboratively while also managing tasks independently
Working Pattern
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Part‑time hours considered
