Interim HR Officer, 1 Month (could extend) Stanmore, £120 - £150 per day

Location: Stanmore (Hybrid – 4 days on site, 1 day working from home) Contract: Temporary, starting next week for 2 days, then continuing until the end of January Hours: Full-time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Interim HR Officer for one month (it could extend) to join a friendly, busy HR team on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive HR professional who can hit the ground running and provide immediate support across a wide range of HR activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Undertaking absence reviews and managing sickness absence cases end-to-end
  • Supporting managers with HR processes and providing guidance throughout
  • Drafting letters including contracts, offer letters, and unsuccessful candidate notifications
  • Managing recruitment and selection, from advertising roles to screening CVs, arranging interviews, and generating offers.
  • Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures throughout all processes
Requirements:
  • You must have experience as an HR Officer / HR Advisor who has managed sickness absence cases end-to-end
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and employment law
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ideally qualified to CIPD Level 5 or above (or equivalent)
  • Available to start immediately
