Part Time HR Manager Leeds

HR Manager (Part‑Time, 3-4 Days per Week)
Location: Leeds (Onsite)
Contract: Part‑Time, Permanent

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our clients team on a part‑time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied generalist role and enjoys shaping a positive employee experience. You’ll be part of the SLT and play a key part in developing our people strategy, supporting managers, and ensuring our HR processes run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for all HR queries, offering clear and practical advice.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development, performance, and offboarding.
  • Support managers with employee relations, absence management, and performance issues.
  • Maintain and improve HR policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice.
  • Lead on HR projects such as employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, and learning & development.
  • Provide insightful HR reporting to support decision-making.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:
  • Proven experience in an HR Manager or senior HR generalist role from a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • A hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach.
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above desirable).
  • The ability to work independently and balance a varied workload across three/four days.
