This is a fast-paced manufacturing business with a loyal, long-tenured workforce and an exciting growth story, recently driven by a significant uplift in operational demand. With headcount increasing and expectations on performance rising, the business is investing in a dedicated in-house HR lead to strengthen people foundations and support line managers on site.

Your new role

• Employee relations case management including disciplinary, grievance, capability and investigations
• Coaching and supporting managers with performance management including PIPs
• Absence management, wellbeing and attendance improvement initiatives
• Recruitment, onboarding and the wider employee lifecycle
• Training coordination and capability development
• HR compliance, accurate records, and policy review and update as needed

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience operating at HR Manager level, or a Senior HR Advisor ready to step up
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
• Confident, values-led approach to employee relations and formal process
• Proven ability to support and coach managers through performance and absence challenges
• Recruitment and workforce planning experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build trust quickly
• CIPD Level 5+ desirable
