Hays is proud to be working with a diverse and dynamic organisation seeking a seasoned HR Manager to lead its UK HR function. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes through strategic HR leadership, operational excellence, and a people-first approach.

Your new role
As HR Manager, you’ll lead a talented HR team and be responsible for aligning UK HR practices with global strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving initiatives that enhance employee experience and organisational performance.

Key Focus Areas
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
  • Champion a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Guide change management efforts and support organisational transformation.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Localise and implement global HR strategies to meet UK business needs.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on all people matters.
  • Oversee payroll, HR analytics, and employment law compliance.
  • Oversee recruitment, talent development, and employer branding initiatives.
  • Lead HR projects and digital transformation efforts.
  • Promote diversity, wellbeing, and employee engagement.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven HR leadership experience within complex or international settings.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on operational capability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Skilled in using integrated HR technologies to streamline processes and support data-driven decisions.
  • Degree in HR, Business, or related field, or CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent).
