Hays is proud to be working with a diverse and dynamic organisation seeking a seasoned HR Manager to lead its UK HR function. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to influence business outcomes through strategic HR leadership, operational excellence, and a people-first approach.
Your new role
As HR Manager, you’ll lead a talented HR team and be responsible for aligning UK HR practices with global strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving initiatives that enhance employee experience and organisational performance.
Key Focus Areas
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Champion a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Guide change management efforts and support organisational transformation.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Localise and implement global HR strategies to meet UK business needs.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on all people matters.
- Oversee payroll, HR analytics, and employment law compliance.
- Oversee recruitment, talent development, and employer branding initiatives.
- Lead HR projects and digital transformation efforts.
- Promote diversity, wellbeing, and employee engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven HR leadership experience within complex or international settings.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR compliance.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on operational capability.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Skilled in using integrated HR technologies to streamline processes and support data-driven decisions.
- Degree in HR, Business, or related field, or CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent).
