Design dashboards, deliver reports, and support strategic workforce planning using tools like Power BI and SAP

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Data Analyst to join our client's team and transform workforce data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of HR and analytics, supporting key initiatives such as workforce planning, diversity reporting, and organisational performance.


Your new role

  • Build and maintain workforce dashboards and reports that align with key business objectives and statutory requirements (e.g., headcount, turnover, absence, EDI, recruitment, pay, learning data).
  • Use tools such as Power BI, People Analytics system, and SAP Business Objects to deliver clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Spot trends and emerging workforce risks, providing interpretation and practical recommendations.
  • Partner with HR systems teams to automate reporting processes and enhance analytics capabilities.
  • Act as the go-to expert for reporting tools, offering training and support to colleagues.
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance through audits and validation checks.
  • Support workforce planning with forecasting and scenario modelling.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in HR data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong skills in Power BI (DAX), SQL, SAP Business Objects and Excel; experience with MHR or similar HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data governance best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
