We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to support our Italian operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Italian employment law, experience managing payroll processes, and a proactive approach to HR administration. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance, delivering accurate payroll, and providing day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and documentation in line with Italian labor regulations.
- Payroll Management: Collate the data and support the monthly payroll for Italian employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to Italian employment law, including contracts, working hours, benefits, and termination processes.
- Employee Support: Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance on policies and procedures.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate new hire processes and exit formalities, ensuring a smooth experience.
- Reporting: Prepare HR reports and metrics for management as required.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider HR team and external payroll providers.
What you'll need to succeed
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).I
- In-depth knowledge of Italian employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in payroll administration within Italy.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
