HR Administrator Nottingham £27,300 PERM
Job purpose
To provide day-to-day HR comprehensive coordination and administration support to the organisation, in line with Policy and Procedures. You will be responsible for managing the administration of the full employee life cycle. Maintaining an accurate and efficient HR database with employee information and necessary documentation, including administering new starters, changes and leavers on the system. Dealing with day-to-day HR queries and responding in line with current policies and procedures.

Provide generalist HR Support
Support the HR Officer and Head of HR in developing and maintaining all administrative systems within the HR Function
Ensure employee documentation is accurately updated in Cascade, Electronic Staff Files, and any other relevant databases, including but not limited to: - Salary Changes
Changes to contracts/terms and conditions
Documents relating to formal meetings
Absence recording including sickness, emergency leave, phased return,
Respond to external and internal enquiries from employees and management in a timely and professional manner
Manage and respond to enquiries in the HR shared mailbox
Advise managers and employees on policy and procedure
Support Managers by taking minutes at meetings with employees
Assist in the production of specific HR reports, e.g., sickness absence, staff turnover and workforce demographics, quarterly commissioner reports,
Assist with policy reviews and amendments, ensuring that the Policy and Governance Tracker is kept up to date
Payroll
• Calculation of all expenses, relief claims, on-call payments and deductions in line with monthly deadline dates.
• Ensure any changes to employment contracts, including starters and leavers, which affect monthly payroll are processed accurately and efficiently
• Prepare monthly sickness absence reports and inform employees of any changes to sick pay entitlement
This is a full-time role Monday–Friday, 37 hours a week.
