HR Change Manager - West Yorkshire

As a Change Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the organisation's transformation agenda. You’ll be as focused on people, behaviours and adoption as you are on plans, timelines and deliverables.

Reporting to the Director of Organisational Development & Culture, and working closely with the Business Transformation team, you’ll lead the change approach for complex, cross‑functional initiatives. You’ll help colleagues understand why change matters, feel confident in what it means for them, and develop the capabilities to embed new ways of working.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and shape change strategies across major transformation programmes
  • Build organisational readiness, drive adoption and embed new ways of working
  • Work across the full change journey — from organisation‑wide shifts to individual behaviour change
  • Engage, listen and adapt your approach to bring people with you
  • Create the conditions for collaboration, confidence and learning
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically, even in ambiguity
  • Turn ambition into reality in a way that feels human, credible and sustainable

About you
You’re an experienced change professional who understands that real transformation is about people, not just processes.

You’ll bring:
  • Experience delivering major organisational change programmes
  • Strong understanding of the full change lifecycle — from concept to embed
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Experience guiding individuals through behaviour and mindset change
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas simply and meaningfully
  • Confidence managing resistance and navigating uncertainty
  • Analytical skills to use insight, data and feedback to drive decisions
  • Experience in the housing sector is helpful but not essential
You will also have:
  • Experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional projects
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Experience delivering training and driving adoption across teams
