HR/ER Casework Manager, WFH, but able to travel to the York office base, 18 months FTC

This 18-month, the FTC is offering generous WFH options. Your base will be the York office, where you need to be able to access it on a regular basis.

HR Casework Manager will provide expert support and advice on employee relations casework matters to managers of all levels across this charity. They will ensure that all cases are handled in line with our organisational culture and values while reducing the risk of cases becoming complex or presenting an employment law risk.

They will be able to analyse data to identify employee relations trends and use this data to propose suitable proactive interventions and solutions, on both an operational and strategic level, to upskill managers and employees with the aim of reducing risks of future casework occurring.
A key member of the HR team, you will need to be able to build and maintain trusted relationships with members of the team, especially the HRBP's and HRA's who hold local management relationships with teams and who will also be involved with casework. They will need to be able to work with a high degree of autonomy and have excellent stakeholder relationship skills, ensuring that casework demands are triaged effectively and that they provide an excellent service across teams and departments. They will have the line management responsibility of the HR Casework Coordinator: this is another new role and so the HR Casework Manager will need to be able to help embed that role into our structure and ensure that it delivers on all its objectives.
