Hays are delighted to be partnering with a fast-paced, high-profile organisation based in Glasgow who are looking to appoint an HR Business Partner on a temporary basis to support throughout a busy period. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering critical HR support.


Your new role

As an Interim HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting operational teams through a busy period with a focus on ER case management, leading on onboarding & offboarding activity and supporting a wide range of generalist HR duties.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a high volume of ER cases, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Acting as a key HR escalation point within a command and control centre environment
  • Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition.
  • Providing responsive and pragmatic HR advice to managers and operational teams
  • Handling high-volume HR queries in a structured, methodical manner
  • Working collaboratively with wider HR and operational stakeholders to maintain consistency and best practice
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor role within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong Employee Relations expertise, with confidence in managing complex and sensitive cases
  • Experience working in high-pressure, high-volume environments
  • Excellent organisational skills with a methodical and solutions-focused approach
  • A confident, approachable and dynamic communication style
