HR Business Partner - Contract March 2025

Hays are delighted to be supporting a public sector organisation who are looking to recruit an HR Business Partner, until March 2025, to support the business during a period of increased work.

The business is looking to engage with a generalist HR professional who can cover the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Coaching and supporting line managers with people issues
  • Applying early intervention strategies to prevent escalation of issues
  • Ability to manage own caseload
  • Experience dealing with complex case work covering; long term absence, grievance, capability and gross misconduct up to dismissal
  • Engaging with unions and maintaining positive working relations
  • Have good systems knowledge
  • Ability to interpret data to see trends and assist with decision making

Due to the urgent nature of this vacancy, the business is looking for candidates on either a limited notice period or immediately available.
