HR Business Partner | Remote Working BUT MUST be within daily commuting distance of Suffolk

Your new role

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a comprehensive, generalist HR service across a defined business area. Acting as a true partner to operational leaders, you will support the delivery of both short and long-term business objectives through expert advice on employee relations, organisational change, performance management and people strategy.

  • Working closely with the HR Director, you will help shape and implement the HR strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • You will lead on complex employee relations cases, providing pragmatic, risk-aware guidance in line with current legislation and best practice.
  • You will contribute to building a high-performance culture by supporting succession planning, and developing leadership capability across the organisation.
  • You will play a key role in change management initiatives, including business restructuring, TUPE activity, and integration projects.
  • This role also involves driving compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining up-to-date HR policies, analysing HR data to inform decision-making, and supporting continuous improvement of people processes and practices.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at Business Partner level
  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) with a strong commitment to ongoing CPD
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex employee relations cases
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience supporting organisational change, restructuring or TUPE processes
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders to drive cultural and behavioural change
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using HR metrics to inform business decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the business
