Your new role
This opportunity will provide first-class support to the HR coordinators, managers and employees, by providing administrative support on core HR processes.
Ownership of maintaining employee files, ensuring they are kept up to date with documentation for joiners, leavers and handling any changes.
Responsible for carrying out regular audits of HR data and files, ensuring data is stored or erased in accordance with GDPR.
Responsible for ongoing management of users within the HR System, LMS System and other HR systems.
Managing the onboarding administration process, ensuring all pre-boarding actions are completed prior to joining, and overseeing all other onboarding steps until the joiners' probation.
Responsible for setting up and monitoring the background screening process in a timely manner, ensuring any issues or discrepancies are escalated to the HR coordinator.
Coordinating all onboarding inductions for new starters with Line Managers and the wider HR team to ensure all key intro sessions are arranged.
Responsible for tracking the probation process and working collaboratively with line managers to ensure all forms and letters are completed and logged into the HR system.
Responsible for keeping benefit providers and insurers up to date with joiners, leavers and changes.
Responsible for ensuring all leaver process steps are arranged, including monitoring completion of leaver paperwork and arranging exit interview.
Tracking the sickness management process and working collaboratively with line managers to ensure all sicknesses are logged in the HR system along with return to work interviews and other documentation as required.
Other general HR administrative tasks when required.
Working closely with the HR coordinator and providing sick cover when necessary.
What you'll need to succeed
Educated to A-level or degree level, ideally with Business studies/HR qualification.
Previous experience in an HR Generalist Administrative role (c2 years preferred)
Experience and knowledge of HR Systems
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail while working with a large amount of data is a must.
Excellent high level of IT skills and ability to use different IT software and systems, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Proven excellent all-round communication, particularly written English
A team player who is customer-focused and has a ‘can do’ attitude
