Your new company
We’re excited to be recruiting for a newly created Human Resources & Payroll Officer role to join our friendly and supportive HR & Payroll team. Reporting to the HR & Payroll Manager, this permanent on site position offers a unique blend of responsibilities across both HR and payroll functions.

Your new role
You’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our fortnightly payroll for approximately 650 employees, using Cleanlink payroll software and the Ezitracker time & attendance system. On the HR side, you’ll collaborate with our HR Officer to manage a wide range of administrative tasks, ensuring our people processes run efficiently and compliantly. You’ll provide cover for payroll processing during holidays/sickness and work alongside our Payroll Officer at other times.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration:
  • Prepare new starter packs and manage onboarding
  • Administer probation reviews, disciplinary paperwork, welfare meetings, and flexible working requests (in partnership with Peninsula)
  • Manage DBS checks, holiday records, and sickness absence documentation
  • Monitor right to work and student work restrictions
  • Maintain the staff portal and HR inbox
  • Answer HR-related calls and queries
Payroll Duties:
  • Process fortnightly payroll using Cleanlink
  • Manage timesheets and worked hours via Ezitracker
  • Handle court orders and leaver forms
  • Update Cleanlink with staff changes
  • Respond to payroll queries and reference requests


What you'll need to succeed
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Accredited HR qualification
  • Proven experience in full payroll processing
Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • High level of integrity and trust
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Procedure-driven and reliable
