Permanent HR Advisor, £32,500-£35,000, Wellingborough

An Exciting Opportunity for a Permanent HR Advisor in Wellinborough. Are you ready to make your mark on a brand-new site for a thriving SME? I am looking for a proactive and passionate HR Advisor to join the HR team and help shape the future of the people strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys bringing fresh ideas to the table, and is confident managing HR processes from end to end.
Location:
  • Based on-site in Wellingborough five days per week with travel to Milton Keynes two days per week for the first month for onboarding and collaboration.
About the Role:
As HR Advisor, you’ll be responsible for delivering effective HR practices at the new site. You’ll work closely with managers and employees, providing expert guidance across all areas of HR. From recruitment to employee relations, you’ll manage ER cases and processes from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and compliant experience for all.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day HR advisory support to managers and employees, ensuring alignment with policies and best practices
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job descriptions, candidate screening, interviews, and offers
  • Manage onboarding and orientation to ensure a seamless experience for new starters
  • Handle employee relations cases from start to finish, including absence management, grievances, and disciplinary matters
  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement and experience
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with employment legislation
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops on HR topics to build capability across the business
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to drive continuous improvement and contribute to strategic projects
What We’re Looking For:
  • You must have proven experience as an HR Advisor, managing employee relations and recruitment processes end-to-end.
  • You will ideally have experience in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, retail or a similar industry.
  • You will ideally be qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above, or equivalent or studying towards.
  • Someone who enjoys working independently and contributing ideas to shape a growing business
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law
  • Ability to travel to Milton Keynes for the first month of employment
