HR Advisor - Staffordshire - Permanent

Your new company

You’ll be joining a fast paced, multi-site distribution group known for exceptional service levels and strong market presence. With around 400 employees across three businesses, the central support team plays a key role in driving consistency, improving processes, and supporting managers across the organisation. This is a workplace where HR genuinely influences and shapes the employee experience.

Your new role

As the HR Advisor, you’ll take on a wide-ranging generalist position with ownership of several key HR areas. No two days will look the same, and you’ll be trusted to make a noticeable impact from day one.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing HR advice to managers on a broad range of operational HR matters
  • Leading all recruitment activity and employer branding initiatives
  • Assessing candidate suitability based on skills, experience, and organisational fit
  • Staying informed on market trends and competitor activity
  • Managing employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, investigations, absence and welfare
  • Working in a fast moving environment where priorities shift and there’s always plenty to get involved in


What you'll need to succeed

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
  • Proven experience partnering with line managers across a range of HR issues
  • Strong literacy skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly organised with strong time management
  • A proactive, customer focused approach with a positive, can do attitude
  • Experience that enables you to add value quickly
  • Background within a similar multi-site or distribution focused organisation would be advantageous
