Were seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy HR team on a 6-month contract basis.
Are you an experienced HR Advisor / HR Generalist looking for your next opportunity? I’m supporting an organisation in East Hampshire that is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team on an initial 6‑month temporary contract via Hays.
This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable providing high‑quality HR advisory support across a broad range of people matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day HR advisory support to managers and employees.
- Manage a caseload of employee relations matters including sickness, performance, conduct, and informal/formal cases.
- Offer clear, pragmatic policy advice and guidance in line with employment legislation and internal processes.
- Support recruitment activity, including shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Handle general HR enquiries, ensuring efficient and customer‑focused service delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes and documentation.
About You
- Prior experience in a generalist HR / HR Advisor role with solid advisory exposure, ideally within unionised environments.
- Confident in handling ER cases from start to finish.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
- Able to build strong working relationships and communicate with clarity.
- Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
