An established and values‑driven organisation within a global group is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support a growing UK business in Diss. Supporting ongoing business growth, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to implement meaningful improvements and have a real, positive impact on both the business and its people. This is a broad, influential role where you’ll champion culture, develop future talent, and support managers to build a high‑performing, engaged workforce.

Your new role

Working with the site Managing Director and Group HR, key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Partnering with the leadership team to shape and embed a high‑performance, inclusive culture
  • Acting as a culture champion and supporting culture improvement initiatives
  • Assisting managers in identifying, developing, and retaining high‑potential and high‑performing employees, contributing to a strong internal talent pipeline
  • Supporting succession planning, readiness assessments, and development planning across the organisation
  • Promoting and coordinating learning and development initiatives to strengthen organisational capability
  • Enhancing key processes such as performance reviews, probation management, and objective setting
  • Working with managers to identify skills gaps and recommending targeted development interventions
  • Managing employee relations cases from initial query through to resolution
  • Supporting end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, and early career programmes
  • Supporting the introduction and embedding of performance‑related pay and bonus frameworks, ensuring alignment with business strategy and desired culture

What you'll need to succeed

  • Broad HR experience with a strong focus on culture, employee relations, and performance management
  • Comfortable working independently, with the gravitas to influence and challenge managers at all levels
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to handle sensitive issues and build trusted relationships
  • Proactive and practical, with a genuine interest in shaping culture, sharing ideas, and improving people practices
  • Good working knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and absence or capability processes
