Hays HR are recruiting for a fantastic financial services company, based in Cardiff. They are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Advisor with Employee Relations experience, particularly in performance management and long-term sickness.

Your new role

As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in the HR team, in delivering high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
Reporting to the HR business partner, your key responsibilities are:

• Provide expert ER advice and guidance, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management

• Support the delivery of manager training on performance management

• Assist the HR team and managers with documentation, scheduling, and note-taking for meetings

• Contribute to reports and data tracking for ER trends and outcomes

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in HR and employee relations, with a strong understanding of current employment law
• Excellent stakeholder management ability
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Sound judgment, discretion, and emotional resilience
• CIPD qualification is desirable
