Employee Relations Advisor / Specialist (Temporary Assignment)

Location: North Bradford
Start: April 2026
End: June 2026
Working Pattern: Up to 2 days per week, 8:30am–4:30pm (on‑site). Days can be agreed with some flexibility.

DBS: Valid DBS required or willingness to undertake a new check.

Your New Company

A well‑regarded organisation in North Bradford is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly embed themselves within a busy HR environment and provide high‑quality support on a range of complex employee relations matters.

Your New Role
As an experienced ER specialist, you will be responsible for handling a varied caseload, often involving complex and sensitive issues. You will provide expert advice and guidance to managers, ensuring fair, compliant and timely resolution of cases.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing complex ER cases end‑to‑end, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence and performance matters.
  • Providing expert advice aligned with ACAS guidance and best practice.
  • Ensuring all actions are compliant with current employment law and organisational policies.
  • Preparing documentation, conducting investigations and supporting hearings where required.
  • Working closely with managers to build confidence and capability in handling ER matters.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a dedicated employee relations role.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and ACAS codes of practice.
  • Proven experience managing complex ER cases independently.
  • Ability to hit the ground running and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, judgement and organisational skills.
  • A valid DBS or willingness to undertake a check before starting.
