Your New Company
A well‑regarded organisation in North Bradford is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who can quickly embed themselves within a busy HR environment and provide high‑quality support on a range of complex employee relations matters.
Your New Role
As an experienced ER specialist, you will be responsible for handling a varied caseload, often involving complex and sensitive issues. You will provide expert advice and guidance to managers, ensuring fair, compliant and timely resolution of cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing complex ER cases end‑to‑end, including disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence and performance matters.
- Providing expert advice aligned with ACAS guidance and best practice.
- Ensuring all actions are compliant with current employment law and organisational policies.
- Preparing documentation, conducting investigations and supporting hearings where required.
- Working closely with managers to build confidence and capability in handling ER matters.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a dedicated employee relations role.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and ACAS codes of practice.
- Proven experience managing complex ER cases independently.
- Ability to hit the ground running and operate with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication, judgement and organisational skills.
- A valid DBS or willingness to undertake a check before starting.
