Key Responsibilities

As an HR Advisor, you'll play a crucial role in supporting both employees and management to ensure a productive and positive work environment. Your responsibilities include:

  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including advising on behavioural concerns, family matters, and disciplinary procedures. You'll be the first point of contact for employees needing guidance or support.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and address poor performance and employee lateness. You'll work with managers to create and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) to help employees meet company standards.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires. You'll organise and conduct new starter inductions, ensuring every new employee feels welcomed and has the resources they need to succeed from day one.
  • Compliance & Administration: Ensure legal compliance by handling employment contracts and advising on employment law. You'll also support legal casework and oversee health and safety procedures.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs to boost morale and foster a positive company culture.
Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Previous HR experience is desirable, and a CIPD qualification is a bonus, but neither is essential. The company is open to candidates with a strong desire to build a career in HR and is willing to fund your qualifications.
  • Skills: You must have strong communication skills and an excellent eye for detail, as demonstrated through written correspondence.
  • Someone with a willingness to learn, a very proactive and quick learner.
