HR Advisor/ ER Co-ordinator, 18 month FTC, hybrid, experience essential. Up to £34000 pa + great benefits.
The role supports the HR Business Partnering team, which provides operational and strategic HR support and advice to managers and staff across the full remit of HR matters.
Reporting to the ER Manager, you will provide support and advice on employee relations casework matters to managers. You will ensure that all cases are handled in line with our organisational culture and values while reducing the risk of cases becoming complex or presenting an employment law risk.
As well as being able to directly support managers with HR casework matters such as performance management or managing sickness absence, they will also have excellent organisational skills to monitor and coordinate all casework activity, creating data and reports that help us to identify employee relations trends and resource demands. You will also need to be able to triage casework as it arises, working with the ER Manager to effectively prioritise urgent cases and ensure that resource is put into place for its management.
A key member, you will need to be able to build and maintain trusted relationships with key members of the team, especially the HRBPs and HRAs who hold the local management relationships with teams and who will also be involved with casework. You will need to be able to work with autonomy as needed and strive to provide a consistently high level of employee relations support and coordination across all teams.

What you'll need to succeed
Essential professional and technical experience:
Experience of supporting managers with employee relations issues, managing casework confidently and providing trusted advice to mitigate risks.
Some experience working in a complex organisation with a geographically dispersed team.
HR Systems and process knowledge, together with an understanding of current employment law.
Working knowledge of the processes and tasks undertaken across operational HR services delivery.
Ability to quickly build and maintain key relationships with a diverse and complex range of stakeholders; support colleagues through change.
Some experience of creating and using systems or processes for effective organisation, monitoring and coordination of work being carried out across a team
Good working knowledge of MS Office packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.
Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable professional and technical experience:
CIPD Level 3 in Human Resource Management or equivalent experience
Experience in using and producing MI and interpreting this for stakeholders
