HR Admin Temporary Huddersfield

HR Administrator - Temporary (3 Months initially) £13.79 per hour Huddersfield based, 3 days in office

Here at Hays, we are working with a charity based in Huddersfield to recruit a HR Administrator on a temporary basis to join during a busy period. You will need to be experienced with working in a busy HR environment. This is a temporary role which is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and with strong administrative experience within HR and has a keen eye for compliance and process accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support onboarding processes including issuing contracts and collecting documentation
  • Conduct Right to Work (RTW) checks and ensure compliance with employment regulations
  • Assist with posting and processing job adverts across platforms
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support reporting requirements
  • Liaise with hiring managers and candidates to ensure smooth onboarding

Experience required:
  • Previous experience in HR or administrative roles
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems
  • Knowledge of RTW and compliance procedures is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
