The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Human Resources Administrator to join a busy and supportive HR team on an ongoing temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous HR administration experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing first-class support across the employee life cycle. You will act as a key point of contact for HR queries, support recruitment and onboarding activities, maintain HR records, and provide valuable reporting and administrative support to the wider HR function.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems.
- Manage HR documentation, filing and correspondence.
- Process employee life cycle changes, including absence records and contractual amendments.
- Support payroll with the preparation and collation of monthly HR data.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee information at all times.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies and issuing offer letters and contracts.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and HR inductions for new starters.
- Ensure all pre-employment checks and right-to-work documentation are completed.
- Maintain compliance with recruitment processes and audit requirements.
Employee Support
- Act as the first point of contact for general HR queries.
- Manage and monitor the HR inbox, responding to employees and managers in a timely manner.
- Escalate complex or sensitive matters to HR Advisors when required.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
Reporting & Data Management
- Produce monthly HR reports and dashboards.
- Monitor key HR metrics including absence, turnover and recruitment activity.
- Maintain data accuracy across HR systems.
- Support internal audits and provide information to stakeholders as required.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential
- Previous experience in an HR Administration or HR Support role.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Experience working in a busy environment with competing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation.
