HPC-Cloud Support Analyst - Pioneering technology team - Manchester - £36,000-£48,000!

Prestigious opportunity within a pioneering technology team for an HPC-Cloud Support Analyst to be dedicated to our ongoing digital transformation. Following a period of significant growth and investment, we are inviting you to join our success story!

As our HPC-Cloud Support Analyst, you will be responsible for:-

  • Introducing new or utilising existing technology in a new way to benefit research
  • Advising on and demonstrating technology capabilities
  • Performing both routine and complex systems maintenance
  • Designing and delivering bespoke technology
  • Investigating replacement and new technology for research

If you possess a combination of the following skills, then LETS TALK!

  • Previous experience in a support role
  • Experience with Linux operating systems
  • Familiarity with HPC technology is advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of on-prem and Cloud platforms
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and monitoring methods for managing platforms
  • Scripting languages such as bash, perl and python
