Housing Support Worker - Wirral - Temp to Perm

We are now recruiting for a Housing Support Worker in the Wirral - Apply Now! This is a 6-month temporary to permanent position offering competitive hourly rates ranging from £16-£18 an hour. The role is also a hybrid position on a full-time basis of 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Mileage reimbursement available for travel expenses.


Your new role

  • Manage tenancy issues including voids, lettings, arrears, ASB, safeguarding, and health & safety checks.

  • Conduct property inspections and ensure quick turnaround of void properties.

  • Provide weekly personalised support to tenants in partnership with care providers.

  • Respond to safeguarding concerns, incidents, and tenancy breaches promptly.

  • Support Housing Benefit applications and resolve documentation issues.

  • Maintain accurate records and submit regular reports via internal systems.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in a housing support position.

  • Good knowledge of housing/tenancy legislation.

  • Full Driving Licence and valid business insurance.

  • DBS is required.
