Housing Support Worker - Manchester - Female Only

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Housing Support Worker (female only) to join a dedicated team in North Manchester, empowering and advocating for residents in supported housing.

This is a full-time role and the working hours are Monday to Friday 9am–5pm. This position is temporary (minimum 8 weeks) with the potential to be offered a permanent role depending on how the initial 8 weeks go.

The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, proactive and passionate about making a difference!


Your new role

  • Case Management & Engagement: Build strong relationships with users from day one
  • IT Literacy: Maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Support Planning: Deliver tailored support sessions and plans
  • Asset Management: Identify, report, and track repairs to completion
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure safe and compliant environments
  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Participate in meetings to deliver holistic support

What you'll need to succeed

  • Background in a similar housing support role with a solid understanding of supported housing environments
  • Proven ability to manage your own workload and work independently
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn, contribute and collaborate with colleagues
  • A full UK driving licence is essential for travel between sites
  • An enhanced DBS check is required for this role
