Housing Officer Temporary Glasgow Housing Association

Your new company

We are currently working with a well-established Housing Association to recruit an experienced Housing Officer on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy housing team and provide essential support during a transitional period.

Your new role

  • Manage a designated patch of housing stock, delivering a high-quality tenancy management service
  • Handle a varied caseload including rent arrears, tenancy sustainment, and anti-social behaviour (ASB)
  • Conduct tenancy visits, estate inspections, and home visits, ensuring properties and communities are well maintained
  • Provide advice and support to tenants, including signposting to relevant services where required
  • Take appropriate action on tenancy breaches in line with policy and legislation
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver effective housing services
  • Maintain accurate records and update housing management systems

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience working in a Housing Officer role within a housing association or local authority
  • Strong understanding of Scottish housing legislation and tenancy management
  • Proven ability to manage rent arrears and ASB cases effectively
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to hit the ground running and manage a busy caseload
