Housing Assistant or Housing Officer Required Glasgow Temporary

Your new company

We’re currently supporting a well-established housing association in the East End of Glasgow with the appointment of a Housing Assistant or Housing Officer on a short-term temporary basis to support the team during a busy period.
This role would suit someone with previous social housing experience who is confident picking up work quickly and providing day-to-day support across housing management functions.

Your new role

  • Supporting the delivery of an effective housing management service
  • Responding to tenant enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face contact
  • Assisting with tenancy management, allocations and estate management tasks
  • Updating housing management systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with internal teams and external partners as required
  • Supporting Housing Officers/Managers with casework and administration
(Responsibilities will vary depending on whether the post is appointed at Housing Assistant or Housing Officer level.)

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience working in a social housing environment (RSL or local authority)
  • Comfortable managing a varied workload in a fast‑paced setting
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confident using housing management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and hit the ground running
