Housing Officer required by a large Housing Association based in Belfast on a temporary basis

Your new company

The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large Housing Association based in Belfast, to recruit a Housing Officer on a temporary basis for a period of c. 3 months with the possibility of further extension.

Your new role

Reporting to the Area Housing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of generic frontline housing management and customer services in accordance with the Association's policies and procedures, including:

Property & Void Management.
Tenancy Management.
Rent Accounting.
Supporting Tenants / Sustaining Tenancies.
Scheme Management.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

At least 1 years’ experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within a housing or property context, and a Level six qualification (e.g. HND, HNC, Degree) in a relevant discipline.
Alternatively, you must have at least 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within a housing or property context.

Additionally, you should have:

An understanding of social housing and current issues affecting the sector.
Experience in meeting agreed deadlines and targets whilst managing a complex and varied workload.
A current full driving licence and access to a suitable form of transport.
