A well-established housing association in Ayrshire is seeking an experienced Housing Officer or Housing Assistant for an initial 8-week assignment. The role focusses on allocations and rent arrears, and is office-based. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a busy team supporting tenants and delivering essential housing services.
Your new role
This includes the management of rent collection and income maximisation, allocations, voids, estate management and the management of anti-social behaviour.
- Deliver core housing services: rent collection, allocations, voids, estate management, and anti-social behaviour.
- Support tenants to sustain tenancies and access relevant services.
- Monitor rent accounts and manage arrears recovery.
- Administer new lets and re-lets efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records and update housing systems.
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation and internal policies.
- Conduct estate inspections and respond to issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support Housing Assistants.
