An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housing Officer to join a respected social housing provider in Glasgow on a part-time basis for 6-12m covering maternity leave.
Your new role
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll be responsible for delivering a high-quality housing management service to tenants and communities, helping to ensure excellent customer service and sustainable tenancies. You'll work closely with residents, colleagues and partner agencies to resolve issues, improve services and support positive tenancy outcomes.
- Deliver a comprehensive housing management service to tenants and customers.
- Manage tenancy-related matters including allocations, voids and new lets.
- Investigate and resolve anti-social behaviour cases.
- Monitor rent accounts and support the achievement of arrears targets.
- Carry out regular estate inspections and identify environmental improvements.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to support residents.
- Ensure compliance with relevant housing legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
- Identify areas for service improvement and contribute to delivering positive outcomes for tenants.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a housing management role.
- Knowledge of Scottish housing legislation and tenancy management practices.
- Experience delivering high-quality tenancy and customer-focused services.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A relevant qualification (or equivalent experience) within housing or a related discipline.
- A full UK driving licence and access to transport
