Are you passionate about delivering high-quality housing services and making a real difference in communities across Glasgow? I am looking for a dynamic and experienced Housing Manager to lead a housing management team for a housing association based in Glasgow and ensure excellent service delivery to tenants.
Your new role
You’ll lead a team of housing officers and work closely with other departments to ensure tenants receive responsive and effective support.
- Lead and manage a team of housing officers to deliver high-quality housing services.
- Oversee tenancy management, including allocations, voids, rent arrears and ASB.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve tenant satisfaction and community wellbeing.
- Ensure compliance with housing legislation, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to support tenants and enhance service delivery.
- Monitor performance indicators and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in housing management, preferably within a social housing or local authority setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of housing legislation and regulatory requirements in Scotland.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and tenant empowerment.
