Are you passionate about delivering high-quality housing services and making a real difference in communities across Glasgow? I am looking for a dynamic and experienced Housing Manager to lead a housing management team for a housing association based in Glasgow and ensure excellent service delivery to tenants.

Your new role

As Housing Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of housing services, including tenancy management, allocations, rent collection and neighbourhood engagement.
You’ll lead a team of housing officers and work closely with other departments to ensure tenants receive responsive and effective support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of housing officers to deliver high-quality housing services.
  • Oversee tenancy management, including allocations, voids, rent arrears and ASB.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve tenant satisfaction and community wellbeing.
  • Ensure compliance with housing legislation, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to support tenants and enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor performance indicators and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in housing management, preferably within a social housing or local authority setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of housing legislation and regulatory requirements in Scotland.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and tenant empowerment.
