Exciting Solicitor Opportunity in Housing Management with a Leading National Firm in Bristol or Birmingham

Your new firm

Our client is a leading UK law firm with a strong national presence and a growing Bristol office. Known for its collaborative culture and commitment to delivering exceptional client service, the firm is consistently ranked in Chambers and Legal 500 and recognised as one of the best firms to work for. With ambitious growth plans and a reputation for excellence, this is an exciting time to join. The firm offers a supportive and inclusive environment, flexible working arrangements, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and professional development.

Your new role
You will join a highly regarded Housing Management team, one of the largest in the country, advising a wide range of clients including housing associations, local authorities, care providers, and charities. The role will involve handling a variety of property-related disputes and advisory work such as possession and injunction claims, disrepair and breach of tenancy matters, cases involving the Equality Act and Mental Capacity Act, as well as leasehold management and service charge disputes. For those at Associate level, there may be opportunities to support junior colleagues and get involved in business development initiatives.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will have strong litigation experience, ideally within property disputes, and the ability to manage your own caseload effectively. Excellent client care skills, commercial awareness, and strong drafting ability are essential. While experience in housing management is desirable, it is not essential, and candidates with a background in property litigation will be considered. You should be confident working directly with clients and contributing to the team’s ongoing success.

What you need to do now
If you are interested in this role or would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
If this job isn’t right for you but you are looking for a new opportunity, please get in touch for a confidential discussion about your career.
We would expect a lawyer with the given PQE to have gained the level of experience required, but this does not preclude applications from those with more or less PQE.
